Overview
LiveMoji (“the App”) is an image and video toolkit for iOS. It lets you turn videos into Live Photos, convert video clips into GIFs, and redact images. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information.
The App operates entirely on your local device. No data is transmitted to external servers, and no analytics or tracking SDKs are used.
Photo Library Access
The App requests access to your photo library only to:
- Let you pick the videos or images you want to process
- Save the Live Photos, GIFs, and redacted images you create back to your photo library
All processing happens on-device. The App:
- Only accesses the media you explicitly select
- Does NOT access your photos or videos without your action
- Does NOT upload or transmit any media over the network
Local Data
The App stores only minimal data locally on your device:
- Daily export count: A local counter (in UserDefaults) used to track the number of free daily exports. It resets each day.
- Preferences: Basic preferences such as onboarding state.
The App does not store or transmit any of your photos or videos.
In-App Purchases
The App offers auto-renewable subscriptions (LiveMoji Pro). In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. The developer does not collect, store, or have access to any payment information. Purchase and subscription records are managed by Apple.
Third-Party Services
The App does not use any third-party services, SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks.
Data Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. All data remains on your device.
Data Retention
All locally stored data can be removed by uninstalling the App. iOS will automatically clean up the App’s data upon uninstallation.
Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
