ZenFocus is an iOS attention and focus training app with 12 science-backed mini-games, including Schulte Grid, Impulse Brake, Color-Word, Focus Wheel, Memory Flip, Pair Match, and more. Train a few minutes a day to build attention that resists distraction.

Getting Started

  1. Open ZenFocus and pick a training from the home screen.
  2. Free trainings can be played a limited number of times per day; Pro unlocks all 12 trainings with unlimited sessions.
  3. After each session, your score is saved on device and appears in Progress.
  4. Use Progress to review streaks, trends, and ability breakdown.

Training Overview

  • Schulte Grid — Tap numbers in order as fast as you can (visual search).
  • Impulse Brake — Tap green, hold on red (Go/No-Go inhibition).
  • Color-Word — Choose the ink color, ignore the word (Stroop).
  • Focus Wheel — Spin steadily and respond to signals (sustained attention).
  • Dual Color — Alternate taps between sides on cue.
  • Pursuit Rotor — Keep your finger on a moving target.
  • Sum Split — Select numbers that add up to the target.
  • Memory Flip — Memorize card positions, then flip in order.
  • Reverse Swipe — Swipe the opposite direction of the arrow.
  • Schulte Words — Find the target English word in a grid.
  • Memory Chase — Track a highlighted ball after they all move.
  • Pair Match — Memorize item positions, clear each kind completely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ZenFocus require an account?

No. There is no login, registration, or cloud account.

Does the app need the internet?

Training features work fully offline. Network access is only used by Apple StoreKit when you view or manage a subscription purchase.

Where are my scores stored?

All scores, streaks, and settings stay on your device (SwiftData / UserDefaults). Nothing is uploaded to our servers.

How do free plays work?

Each training has a small free daily quota. When the quota is used up, you can unlock ZenFocus Pro for unlimited access to all trainings.

What is ZenFocus Pro?

ZenFocus Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (weekly / monthly / annual) that unlocks all 12 trainings and unlimited sessions. Billing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store.

How do I restore or cancel a subscription?

  • Restore: open the Pro / paywall screen and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID.
  • Cancel or manage: App Store account settings → Subscriptions → ZenFocus Pro.

I bought Pro but features are still locked

  1. Confirm you are signed in with the Apple ID used for purchase.
  2. Tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen.
  3. Restart the app, then try again.
  4. If it still fails, email us with your Apple ID email (not password) and approximate purchase time.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete the app from your device to remove local scores and settings. Subscription status is managed by Apple and is not deleted with app data.

Does ZenFocus show ads or track me?

No ads. No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
