Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using AnySearch (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
AnySearch is a macOS utility that indexes authorized file metadata to provide local file search, File Landscape, optional content search, and on-device natural-language query interpretation. Search queries and file data are processed locally and are not sent to a model provider.
You are responsible for choosing folders and volumes to authorize and for ensuring that you have the right to access and index their contents.
Subscriptions and Purchases
The App may offer:
- Monthly Pro: an auto-renewable monthly subscription;
- Yearly Pro: an auto-renewable yearly subscription;
- Lifetime Pro: a one-time purchase for continued access to the purchased AnySearch app features.
Current prices and billing periods are displayed by Apple’s StoreKit before purchase. Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple Account and manages subscription billing. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
Purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store terms and applicable law. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
Lifetime Pro does not guarantee that third-party services will remain available or grant access to a separate future product.
Free Usage
The App currently includes 100 free searches. This allowance is stored locally and does not reset each time the App launches. After the allowance is used, a subscription or one-time purchase may be required for additional searches. The current allowance and available plans are shown in the App and may change in a future version with corresponding disclosure.
File and Content Operations
The App can read metadata in authorized locations. If you explicitly enable Content Search, it can read supported file contents and keep extracted text in a local sandboxed index. The App can also move a selected item to the macOS Trash after confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing the selected item and maintaining appropriate backups.
Intellectual Property
The App and its original code, design, features, and documentation are owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your files and search phrases remain yours.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” Search results, natural-language interpretations, duplicate suggestions, file-size calculations, and content extraction may be incomplete or inaccurate. The App is not a substitute for backups or professional data-recovery software.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes
We may update these Terms when the App or legal requirements change. The revision date appears above. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections available in your jurisdiction.
